This year has been marked by natural disasters that have claimed many victims, starting with the heavy snow in February that was said to occur only once in a century, followed by a landslide disaster that occurred in Hiroshima Prefecture in August, and the eruption of Mount Ontake in September. Then in October, the Japanese archipelago was struck by large typhoons in two consecutive weeks. Various extraordinary natural phenomena have been occurring in various parts of the world due to abnormal weather on a global scale. Every day you realize that agriculture is an industry that nurtures life.
