Successful Future Expected for Course Participants

Masashi Kurita
JICA Expert in Thailand

Since last year, I have been in a position to formulate study programs. Concerns and objectives of those who sign up for training courses vary widely. Besides, there are a great deal of differences between Japan and Thailand in terms of the history behind the birth of agricultural cooperatives and the degrees of their subsequent development. Given the differences, I exercise my ingenuity in order to make study projects inspiring and exciting enough to broaden the base of their activity in their homeland.

I have been told that their intellectual interest was not only in the training course for which they came but also in the Japanese culture in general, as they regarded their encounter with elements of the Japanese culture also as the subject of study. I expect that they will make huge contributions to the progress of agriculture back in their homeland.
